  • What are Lash Extensions?

Lash extensions are individual synthetic or faux mink lashes that are carefully applied to your natural lashes to create longer, fuller, and more defined lashes without the need for mascara.

  • How Long do Lash Extensions last?

With proper care, lash extensions can last up to 6-7 weeks with proper care.

Most clients schedule fills every 2–3 weeks to maintain a full look.

  • Column

Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.

  • Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

When professionally applied and properly cared for, lash extensions should not damage your natural lashes.

  • How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive with clean lashes and no eye makeup. Avoid wearing mascara, eyeliner, or oily skincare products around the eyes.

  • Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?

No, mascara is not recommended with lash extensions. Mascara can cause extensions to stick together, create buildup that is difficult to remove, and shorten the lifespan of your lash set. Waterproof mascaras are especially problematic because they require rubbing or oil-based removers, which can damage your extensions and affect retention.

If you're looking for a fuller lash look, we recommend booking a mini fill (1 week), waiting 2–3 weeks for your regular infill appointment.

  • Can I get lash extensions if I have sensitive eyes?

Yes! Clients with sensitive eyes can still enjoy lash extensions with the correct technique, products and aftercare.

Please let us know about any allergies or sensitivities before your appointment so we can discuss the best options.

  • What should I avoid after my appointment?

For the first 24 hours, avoid using steam rooms or saunas, and applying oil-based products around your eyes.

For a list of Aftercare tips and what to avoid after your Lash Appointment please read our Pre-Appointment Prep & Aftercare Page

  • Can I get my lashes wet after my appointment?

Yes! With the correct Lashing technique (from your artist) and great products, you can get your lashes wet after your appointment.

However, it's recommended to stay away from sauna's or steam rooms the first 24 hours.

  • What lash styles can I choose to book?

We love versality and provide a varietyof Tailored Lash Sets and Styles including Mega Classics, Hybrid, Light Volume, Volume, and Wispy Lash sets.

Each appointment includes a complimentary consultation before we begin where we will go over mapping, styling, lengths and any inspiration you may have.

  • What're the difference between each Lash set?

    Mega Classics

Mega Classics are perfect for clients who love a clean, natural look with a little extra definition. One extension is applied to each healthy natural lash using a slightly thicker extension than a traditional classic set, creating the appearance of fuller, darker lashes while still looking effortless. Ideal for everyday wear.

    Hybrid Set

A Hybrid Set is a blend of classic and volume lash extensions, combining individual lashes with lightweight volume fans. This creates a soft, textured look that offers more fullness than classics while maintaining a natural appearance. Perfect for clients who want the best of both worlds.

    Light Volume

Light Volume uses handmade or premade fans with a small number of ultra-fine lashes applied to each natural lash. This creates a soft, fluffy look with added fullness without appearing too dramatic. It's a great choice for clients who want noticeable volume while keeping their lashes light and airy.

    Volume Set

A Volume Set is designed for clients who love a fuller, more glamorous lash look. Multiple ultra-light extensions are fanned and applied to each healthy natural lash, creating a dense, fluffy finish with excellent coverage. This set is perfect for those who enjoy a bold, eye-catching appearance.

    Wispy Set

A Wispy Set features a mix of varying lash lengths to create a textured, feathery effect inspired by strip lashes. The result is a soft yet dramatic look with defined spikes and added dimension. Wispy lashes can be customized using hybrid or volume techniques to suit your desired level of fullness.

  • How do I make my lash extensions last longer?

    • Avoid oil-based products
    • Do not pick or pull your Lashes.
    • Please book a lash removal to keep your lashes healthy and long.
    • Thoroughly Clean and rinse your lashes regularly with a lash-safe cleanser at least 2-3 times a day.
    • Brush your lashes with a mascara wand / spoolie daily.
    • Upkeep your Lashes with our Lash Aftercare Kits
    • Schedule Lash refills every 2–3 weeks.
    • Do Not apply any DIY Lash bonder, DIY Lash Clusters, Strip Lashes, Strip Lash glue to your Lash Extensions.

Please also review our Aftercare & Pre-Appointment page for more tips on Lash Longevity.

  • What is Lash Shedding?

Lash Shedding is the natural process of losing eyelashes as part of the normal eyelash growth cycle. Just like the hair on your head, each natural lash grows, rests, and eventually falls out to make room for a new one. On average, it is normal to shed between 1 and 5 natural lashes per day. If you wear eyelash extensions, the extensions attached to those natural lashes will also shed. Regular lash shedding is healthy and expected, while excessive shedding may be caused by factors such as stress, illness, hormonal changes, medications, or improper aftercare.

  • Why do my lash extensions fallout after getting a full set?

It is completely normal to notice a few lash extensions shedding after your appointment. Lash extensions are attached to your natural lashes, so when your natural lashes shed as part of their normal growth cycle, the extensions shed with them. Most people naturally lose 1–5 lashes per day.

Other factors that can affect retention include:

    • Getting your lashes wet or exposing them to steam within the first 24 hours (if advised by your lash artist).
    • Rubbing, pulling, or sleeping face-down on your lashes.
    • Using oil-based products around the eyes.
    • Natural factors such as hormones, stress, illness, medications, or seasonal lash shedding.

With proper aftercare, most clients enjoy good retention and typically require a fill every 2–3 weeks to keep their lashes looking full. Mini-fills are also offered between 1 week.

  • What is the Lash shedding cycle?

The lash shedding cycle is the natural process your eyelashes go through as they grow, rest, and shed.

Just like the hair on your head, each natural lash has its own growth cycle, which means not all of your lashes are at the same stage at the same time.

  • What're the three stages of the Lash Growth Cycle?

There are three stages of the lash growth cycle:

    1. Anagen (Growth Phase): New lashes begin to grow from the hair follicle. This stage lasts approximately 30–45 days.
    2. Catagen (Transition Phase): The lash stops growing and the hair follicle shrinks. This stage typically lasts 2–3 weeks.
    3. Telogen (Shedding Phase): The mature lash naturally falls out, allowing a new lash to grow in its place. This phase can last around 100 days.
    • It is completely normal to lose 1–5 natural lashes per day.
    • If you wear lash extensions, the extensions attached to those natural lashes will shed as well.
    • This is why regular infills every 2–3 weeks are recommended to keep your lashes looking full, healthy and fresh.
  • What happens if I pick or pull my lash extensions?

This can damage your natural lashes and create gaps within your natural lash line!

Please book a Lash removal or a Lash refill to have the outgrown lashes removed and do not pick or pull on your extensions!

  • Can I swim with lash extensions?

Yes! You can absolutely swim with lash extensions.

Keep in mind that frequent exposure to chlorine, salt water, and excessive rubbing may cause your extensions to shed more quickly over time.

After swimming, gently rinse your lashes with fresh water, cleanse them with a lash-safe cleanser if needed, and brush them once they're completely dry to keep them clean and fluffy.

Following your aftercare instructions and booking Mini infills (within a week) or, regular infills every 2–3 weeks will help maintain the fullness and longevity of your lash extensions.

  • Why Do I Need a Lash Refill Every 2–3 Weeks?

As your natural lashes go through their normal shedding cycle, the extensions attached to them will naturally fall out as well.

Most people lose 1–5 natural lashes each day, so over the course of 2–3 weeks, enough lashes will have shed to create noticeable gaps.

Regular refills replace the extensions that have naturally shed, keeping your lash line looking full, balanced, and healthy.

Booking your refills every 2–3 weeks helps maintain your desired look and prevents the need for a full new set.

  • A Mini Fill is designed for clients who want a quick touch-up between appointments.

    • It's ideal if you've experienced a little extra shedding before a special event or simply want to refresh your lashes sooner than your scheduled refill.
    • Mini fills are intended to replace a small number of extensions and are typically booked within 7–10 days of your last appointment.
    • A Regular 2–3 Week Lash Refill is a full maintenance appointment where extensions that have naturally shed are replaced, and your lash set is restored to its original fullness.
    • This is the recommended appointment for maintaining healthy, beautiful lash extensions over time.

If it's been more than 3 weeks since your last appointment or you have less than the required amount of extensions remaining, a full set or extended refill may be needed instead.

  • What type of wax do you use?

Upon booking waxing services, we offer both Soft Wax and Hard Wax.

  • What is the difference between Soft and Hard Wax?

Both soft wax and hard wax effectively remove unwanted hair, but they're designed for different areas and hair types.

Soft wax is applied in a thin layer and removed with a cloth or paper strip. It's ideal for covering larger areas of the body, such as the legs, arms, chest, and back, and is effective at removing fine to medium hair.

Hard wax is applied directly to the skin and hardens as it cools, allowing it to be removed without the use of strips. It adheres to the hair rather than the skin, making it a gentler option for sensitive areas such as the face, underarms, bikini, and Brazilian area. It's especially effective for coarse or stubborn hair and is often more comfortable for clients with sensitive skin.

During your appointment, we'll choose the most appropriate type of wax for your service to ensure the best results while keeping your treatment as comfortable as possible.

  • What areas do you wax?

Facial waxing services may include brows, upper lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns, or full face, depending on your needs.

  • How long should my hair be before waxing?

Most clients schedule facial waxing every 3–5 weeks, depending on hair growth.

Clients who have PCOS or a faster hair growth cycle may book upkeeps before the 3-5 week timeframe.

  • Can I get facial waxing if I have acne?

It depends on the severity. Waxing over active breakouts can cause irritation, so we may adjust or avoid certain areas.

  • Will waxing make my hair grow back thicker?

No. Hair does not grow back thicker after waxing.

Over time, regrowth hair often becomes thinner, finer, and softer.

  • Can I wax my face if I use skincare products like retinol?

You should stop using retinol or strong exfoliants at least 3–5 days before your appointment, as they increase skin sensitivity.

  • What if I’ve never had facial waxing before?

    That’s completely okay.

All of our appointments include a complimentary consultation where we’ll walk you through the process and make sure you’re comfortable throughout the service.

  • Can I wear sunscreen after facial waxing?

Yes, but wait a few hours before applying anything to freshly waxed skin.

  • Can I shave between waxing appointments?

Many waxing services can be safely performed during pregnancy, although skin may be more sensitive. Please consult your healthcare provider if you have any concerns and let us know before your appointment.

  • Can I get waxed during my menstrual cycle?

Yes, but your skin will be more sensitive. Pain tolerance may be heightened for those who wax on their period.

In the event that you are on your period, please wear a tampon if booking a bikini or Brazilian wax.

  • Can I get waxed if I'm using retinol or acne medications?

Yes, but we may adjust products and techniques depending on your skin type.

  • Is bleeding during waxing normal?

A small amount of pinpoint bleeding can occasionally occur during waxing, especially if it's your first wax, the hair is coarse, or the hair has a strong root. This is more common in areas with thicker hair, such as the bikini or underarm area.

Pinpoint bleeding is usually harmless and stops quickly. We use proper hygiene practices and provide appropriate aftercare to help keep your skin clean and comfortable.

If you have certain medical conditions, take blood-thinning medications, or have particularly sensitive skin, please let us know before your appointment so we can determine if waxing is suitable for you and tailor your service accordingly.

  • Why should I avoid sexual activity after a bikini or Brazilian wax?

After a bikini or Brazilian wax, the skin is more sensitive because the hair has been removed from the follicle and the pores remain temporarily open. Friction, heat, sweat, and bodily fluids can increase irritation and may raise the risk of bacteria entering the hair follicles.

For the best healing and comfort, it's recommended to avoid sexual activity for 24–48 hours after your wax. This allows the skin time to calm, reduces the chance of irritation or folliculitis (inflamed hair follicles), and helps you achieve the best results.

During this time, it's also a good idea to avoid hot tubs, swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, intense exercise, and tight clothing, as these can also contribute to irritation.

  • What is folliculitis?

Folliculitis is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become inflamed or irritated. It can happen after waxing because the hair has been removed from the follicle, making the area temporarily more vulnerable to irritation or bacteria.

Folliculitis may appear as small red bumps, white-headed pimples, or tender spots around the hair follicles. It can sometimes feel itchy or slightly sore, but it is usually mild and resolves on its own within a few days.

Following your aftercare instructions can help reduce the risk of folliculitis. This includes avoiding friction, excessive sweating, hot tubs, swimming pools, and tight clothing for the first 24–48 hours after waxing. Keeping the area clean and avoiding touching it with unwashed hands can also help promote healthy healing.

If redness, swelling, pain, or pus worsens or does not improve after several days, it's best to consult a healthcare provider for further evaluation.
